Ines Ha
An inspiring young dancer and leader.
Hi! My name is Ines, and I am a student dancer, leader, and creative artist passionate about using movement and art to connect and inspire others. Dance has always been like my second voice, it is a way to express strength and resilience, as well as a sense of emotion and feelings that's can't always convey. From ballet to contemporary, I have trained and competed in various places, earning recognition such as YAGP Top 12 Los Angeles (2024–2025) and Silver Awards for Ballet and Contemporary at the Daehan Dance Art Concours (2025–2026).
Beyond performing, I have always believed that dance has the power to heal and bring communities together. Dance has made such a big impact on the person I am today, it is something I can't fathom living without, even further, I can't imagine not having access too it because of something that I can't control. This led me to create Project Étoile, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating an inclusive space where children of all abilities, including those with Down syndrome, can move freely, express themselves, and shine.
At Harvard-Westlake School, I strive to lead with creativity and compassion. I have served as All-School President (2023–2024) and Student Ambassador for three consecutive years, while also directing community events such as the Larchmont School Fair. My academic dedication has earned me recognition including the Harvard-Westlake Honor Roll (2024–2025) and NLMC National Honorable Mention (2022–2023).
In addition to dance, a more recent form of conveying emotion has been through visual art. In the past 2 years, I have created using clay, photography , acrylic paint, oil paint, and many more mediums. All of my artwork and designs reflect my perspective on empathy and inclusivity, as well as events and emotions I am feeling in my own life.
Through every performance, project, and leadership role I am lucky enough to receive, I aim to celebrate diversity, empower others, and continue growing as both an artist and an advocate for inclusion.
